How to enter

Entry to all categories is via this website only. *

Resolution

Set the resolution of the image to 72dpi.

Resize the image
Set the maximum size of the image on its longest side to no more than 900pixels (which equates to around 13 inches at 72dpi).

Set the colour space
Set the image colour space to RGB (either Adobe RGB or sRGB are fine).

Save the image as JPEG
Save the image as JPEG, with the image quality set to between 7 and 9.

Add your name and category to image filename (this is very important!)
Add your own surname and category entered to the filename of the image.

IMPORTANT - Gather ALL your images to upload for each category
Once you start the entry process you will need to upload in one session all of the images that you want to enter for any one cateogry. You will not be able to go back to that category and upload additional images at a later time. You can, of course, come back and enter and pay for additional categories at any time.

There is a £5 fee for entry into each category of the Outdoor Photographer of the Year 2011. If you are entering more than one image per category you need only pay one fee for that category. You can enter a maximum of three images per category for each £5 fee paid. You can pay additional fees for a category if you want to enter more than three images to that category.

Payment can be made via credit or debit card only. Please state clearly your name, address, contact telephone number, and the categories you want to enter. Once you have paid, you will be given the Upload link to send in your images via this website. You also need to complete the registration process on the website.
